I had the most enjoyable time performing in two wonderful concerts this weekend at Dorchester Abbey in aid of Music for Autism. Friday night showcased voices from Birmingham Conservatoire in a selection of arias, songs and scenes, and Sunday night was my first performance with conductor John Lubbock and the Orchestra of St John. I was singing the soprano solo in Mendelssohn’s Psalm 115. Great fun and feel very privileged to have heard Steven Isserlis perform Tchaikovsky’s Rococo variations – incredible – and the OSJ Voices stunning Bruckner Motets. A very special weekend of performing!
